Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Be Digital AI e.U. ("Platform," "we," "us"). It supplements Section 8 of our Terms & Conditions — where the two differ, the Terms govern.

1. Be Digital Is a B2B Service

Be Digital is sold exclusively to businesses for business use. By subscribing, you confirm you are acting in a professional or commercial capacity. As a result, the EU's statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to your subscription.

2. Subscriptions Are Non-Refundable

  • Monthly and annual subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods
  • One-time purchases (e.g. lifetime deals sold directly via Stripe) are non-refundable once activated, except as described in Section 4 below
  • This applies regardless of how much of the Platform you actually used during the billing period

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

  • You may cancel anytime from your workspace Billing settings, or by emailing support@be-digital.ai
  • Cancellation stops future renewals — it does not trigger a refund for the current period
  • You keep full access to the Platform until the end of your current billing period
  • After that date, your workspace is downgraded per our data retention policy (see Terms §7 and the DPA)

4. When We Do Issue a Refund

We may issue a refund, at our discretion or where mandatory law requires it, in cases such as:

  • A duplicate or accidental charge
  • A proven billing error on our part (e.g. incorrect plan or add-on price)
  • A prolonged, verified platform outage attributable to us, not to a third-party channel (Meta, etc.) or to your own configuration

4.1 How to Request One

Email support@be-digital.ai within 14 days of the charge with your workspace name and invoice number. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

5. Failed and Late Payments

  • If a payment fails, we retry it and notify the workspace admin by email
  • Continued payment failure may result in suspension, then downgrade, of your workspace
  • Reactivating after suspension does not entitle you to a refund for the suspended period

6. Add-Ons and Marketplace Purchases

  • Add-ons (extra seats, contacts, automations, channels) follow the same non-refundable policy as the base subscription
  • Lifetime deals or credits purchased through a third-party marketplace (e.g. AppSumo) are governed by that marketplace's own refund window and terms, not this policy

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. Be Digital does not store your full card details. Any refund we approve is issued to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
